Hey there, I'm 16 and was diagnosed with fibromyoliga when I was 13. I have severe pains in all my joints and yes I too have those knots and I get cramps in my arms and legs. I used to take medication for it but I decided to stop and just realize that I am too have a life of pain. (You get used to it). I used to have massages from my mom every night before I would go to bed but lately she hasn't been doing to well so i've done without. The pain was so bad that I would scream and sometimes it would be difficult for me to get up in the mornings for school, sometimes i wouldn't get up, so i've lost a lot of my credits. The trigger points to fibromyolgia are the ankles, behind the knee, the lower back, shoulder blades, behind the neck, and elbows. That is where i experience it the most. To ease the pain, I've been doing workouts which are 100 crunches a day, 50 pushups, and run at least 15-30 minutes a day. That has helped me sleep and function a little better. Instead of spending so much money on massage therapy, you should really consider excercising.
