I have had a sporadic reoccuring rash that forms just on the inner portions of my ankles. It is usually bright red and splotchy and some times tiny blood colored dots appear as well. My ankles are tender and swollen and my legs feel lethargic and heavy, especially when I walk. I have noticed that two of the times this has happened I recall being on my feet for an extended period of time. This current case appeared a day and a half after I worked a 13 hour waitressing shift. The swelling is not what concerns me, because I realize that being on your feet for a long time can cause stress to the body. But in combination with this rash I wonder if I have more severe circulatory problems. I have had spider veins since I was 16 and in the winter I cannot seem to ever warm my extremities. Should I be concerned about this strange rash?
