My son had very similar tremors when he was 4 months old. After bloodtests, EEGs, CAT scans, head scans, and being rushed to the emergency room, my doctor too said it was acid reflux because all of these tests came back negative. He would have these tremors only when he was falling asleep and taking a bottle. Sometimes his head would just tremor, sometimes it was just his arms and sometimes it was both. Regardless, it was VERY frightening. I set up a video camera and caught a number of episodes on video and showed it to our pediatrician. He disagreed with his previous diagnosis of acid reflux and sent me to a pediatric neurologist. I showed the doctor the tape and he said it was "benign drowsy feeding tremors of infancy". They are completely harmless tremors and babies usually grow out of them by 8 or 9 months. It occurs when a baby is taking a bottle and falling asleep at the same time. My son grew out of them by age 8 months. I suggest taking any child with something that sounds like this to a neurologist to be sure it's not something more serious. They should be familiar with this diagnosis. Hope this helps.
