I have this as well. I am a 35 year old female and I have a large lump on the side of my neck. I have had someone massage it out in the past, and now it is back and even larger than before. I think for me it is brought on by stress and being so tense. I am going to the Doctor very soon and I will post an update. I also just noticed a hard bump behind my right ear too =(
