So happy to have found this site. My 4 month old son has had four episodes of arm and head shaking (tremors) in the past week. Cat Scan came back great, blood work came back great, as did our EEG that was just done today! We were of course concerned about seizures (his birth father has a history), but everything turned out normal. The few doctors we have met with suggest that he has Acid Reflux. They have suggested rice cereal in the formula. One of the incidences happened for just ten seconds, during feeding....The other three happened during one feeding. HE had a ten second bought, then a 30 second bought, then another ten second bought. That is when we rushed him to the doc and then to the ER. The arms and head were the only thing "tremoring", and there was no stopping the tremors during that time. No roll back of the eyes, no other body parts shaking...not lethargic afterward. He is a big kid, gaining weight rapidly. He does spit up at least a few times a day. He hiccups frequently. He sleeps 12 hours a night. He hates being burped! He usually sounds congested. Though, he is far from crabby or colicky. That is what we have going! So...please..someone out there...has anyone ever had tremors associated with reflux? Thanks so much.
