I hope by now you have resolved your issue. But if you have it sounds a lot like a thyroid problem. I would seriously consider going to a different doctor. It was irresposible of them to give you anti-biotics with no evidence of bacteria. And if it was not a bacterial infection, it could be more serious. i hope you are okay.
