Yes, my nephews daughter who is also 4yrs old is the very same way. Their dr. put her on a stool softner just to make her "go". There is nothing wrong with her physically. Mainly it is laziness on her and mostly her parents part. They just keep putting diapers/disposable panties on her. Not really taking the time to properly train her. She, also said it "hurt". But now that she was put on the stool softner...its found that its just laziness.
