lump on right side of neck

The first time I noticed the lump was on 06-15-03, if did not hurt etc....I went to the doctor to get it checked out; it gave me antibotic which did not work. This was on Monday 06-23-03 by 06-27-03 it had grown causing my neck and left side hurt. I have flu like systoms with no temperation. On 07-01-03 they dranined a little of the fluid and it told the pressure off my neck and back, but it growing again and the pain is coming back. I am freezing one mins and in cold sweats the next. Please help.
