hi my son is now 14yrs of age and luckily with persistence and love he only needs an albuterol inhaler as needed only.he too was on flovent albuterol and so many other meds. ask your dr for a spacer that was the turning point for us he wasn't getting the meds in his lungs.also keep his room cool and ask the dr for a nebulizer
