My six-week-old son had surgery to remove a congenital cataract in his eye last week. He gets fitted for a contact lens tomorrow, and along with his eye drops we begin patching his good eye for an hour a day to strenghten his right eye. At two he could be old enough for a lens implant and bifocal glasses. Just wondering if anyone else has a child that's been through this process, and what was the outcome. Is his/her vision normal?
