Permanent black spots after Scuba Diving

Aproximately 2 years agp I went scuba diving and was doing a 35metre dive. I noticed a day or two afterwards that I could see black spots when I had a light backdrop. Whether it was diving related or possibly from the bright midday sun while on the boat i am not sure but I have certainly been in brighter sun with out shades and not had any after effects. If anyone has any info regarding any possibilities.
