Have have an important question to be clarified. I am undergoing an ivf treatment. I have failed my first ivf and planning to go again.
Before starting my treatment my husband underwent a routine sperm analysis test and it was abnormal (poor morphology and motility). He did not suggest for SCSA before starting the cycle. Now we are planning to go on Shared-rist program to save some money. Now my doc recommends me to go for SCSA. Is it appropriate or is it because they are going to loose money (incase i concieve) now that he is recommending this to us? Is it not an important test to consider before the ivf begins, more because my husband had an abnormal results. Or does that purely depend on individual doctors. If he thinks that is an important test to do before beginning the procedure, why now (while we are planning for a shared risk program) ? Why not before starting the treatment and loosing 13000 dollars.
Moreover they are recommending me to go for the uterine cavity test after i failed the ivf. My question is why not before begin the ivf. Does anybody have any suggestions.
