My 4 month old daughter has started having tremors in her head and arms while drifting off to sleep at the end of a feeding. Once, she experienced a cluster of 3 tremors within a 5 minute time period. It's isolated to her upper body and she always stays asleep during and after the episode. I've always been able to bring her out of the tremor by holding her tighter or moving her in some way. Her eyes don't roll back like a real seizure and it never lasts longer than a few seconds. I took her to her doctor and a pediatric neurologist today and they ran an EEG. I won't have the results for a few days, however. The neurologist couldn't really tell us much without witnessing an episode and I'm a little frustrated about the lack of info he could give us. I've read other postings by parents with similar experiences but no one ever posted a diagnosis. Our doctor seemed to think it might be benign myoclonic tremors but the neurologist didn't think so. Any thoughts or info is appreciated.
