My nearly 3 month old granddaughter is having tremors of the head. We are also very concerned. Her pediatrician said it is no problem and someone else said she is trying to hold her head up. It's easy to see when a child is trying to hold her head up,it is more muscular. This is a very rapid tremor, not shakes. My daughter has made plans to take the baby to Children's Hospital tomorrow. She saw the tremors only just this last week, but I saw them a couple of weeks ago and my older daughter has seen them also. I believe this calls for a neurological exam. It could be lots of things, but I wonder about seizures. Other mothers who have written re: this problem, was your baby full term, was mom in labor long, anything unusual about the pregnancy or delivery? Just curious. Hope things work out well for you and your babies.
