I too suffer from acid reflux - I cannot eat after 6-6.30pm and go to bed at 10.30-11.00 , so, if it is later - I eat a lot less and sleep with a few pillows and drink hot water slowly, like tea or I have a cup of tea before I go to bed - I also take a couple of Maalox tablets, extra strenth - I do have a prescription for Pantaloc, and it does work, but I too hate taking so much stuff, so I just try and fix it myself. It can be scarry to find yourself choking in the middle of the night - try the hot water or tea thing and drink it slowly - a walk after dinner also seems to move it all down further in my tummy - Cheese is the worst for me, it simply does not break down so noooo Pizza and also dairy products of any kind really. Hope this note at least gives you some comfort - they are a lot of us!!! Happy New Year to you from Ontario, Canada
