Went to doc for another exam trying to find out why I have this burning sensation in my upper stomach area (right at the top of where your ribs meet). It comes and goes. Can't nail it down to foods I eat, or anything. I mentioned that I feel like I have TONS of mucous in my throat that I can't bring up too. When she looked in my throat she said it was terrible. Also, one of my nostrils was blocked and my ears weren't the greatest either. I do have post nasal drip. She said this may be what casuing the burning pain in the upper stomach. She has me on Nosacort and Allegra. I am to follow up in a week. Had a endoscopy done in March for reflux symptoms and all looked fine. I guess she may schedule another scope if the allergy meds don't work. Just curious if anyone has every heard of the drainage causing burning sensations in the upper stomach?? Thanks
