well, Unfortunately this is a very hard thing to teach. Ask anyone who can burp how it is done, and they will say something stupid and completely unhelpful like "It's easy, just swallow air". This answer makes absolutely ZERO sense to somebody who doesn't know how to burp.
I too suffer from an inability to burp. When drinking alcohol, this can be a huge problem. many times I felt like I needed to puke, but I knew that I just needed to burp. Often, I would go to the bathroom and sit over the toilet and heave up nothing but air, then feel a million times better. Because of my problem, I couldn't drink beer at a very fast rate, But i knew that if i could learn how to burp, I would be a G()D at beer chugging. But I always got the "swallow air" answer from anyone I asked for advice.
Untill I met a man who could actually manage hto explain it to me. This trick is not helpful if you want to burp on command or have dreams of burping the alphabet, this trick will only help you burp if you feel the gas inside you and it is making you sick. The trick is to push forward your Jaw, open your throat as much as you can, lean your head back (so that you have as much a straight tube going to your stomanch as you can) and then tense your stomach to give little pushes and try to force the air out. The tension you give yourself is the same tension you would give yourself to blow chunks, just push a little less. The goal is basically to force yourself to puke up the air. Go to a bathroom the first few times you try this trick, because if you are unlucky you might kick up a little bile. You may also start coughing after getting the air out (this hasn't happened to me, but it has happened to a few people I have shared the trick with).
Remember, this is not "swallowing air". I still don't understand what that means, so this trick will not help you burp on que, but it will be a life saver when you feel the air inside your stomach making you sick and you just NEED to get it out of you. This trick is especially helpful for drinkers who cannot burp, but is good for anyone who has stomach gas problems.
Just open the tube up and press the air out.
