I have been doing some research online, and I am going to try a new treatment, I read that apple cider vinegar is supposed to cure acid reflux, and since it appears that the sensitive lips may be related hopefully it will cure that too. THe only thing is that vinegars sold in grocery stores are supposed to be ineffective and that you should buy the real stuff. BRAGG brand has been recommended. I will test this in the next week or two and let you all know if it works or not. You are supposed to take the ACV with honey and water. The thinking behind is that people with acid reflux actually don't have enough acid in the stomach to digest the food so the vinegar does a good job of assisting the body to digest. My ph levels are not incredibly abnormal and therefore it appears that my acid levels are ok. Of course you should not drink caffeine, smoke, drink, but that's a given with everybody. Diet is everythign, exercise is everything, many of the pharmaceutical drugs are just cover ups and probably don't redress the root of the problem, but don't take my words for it. We all have our own brains to come up with own conclusions; however, I'd rather take a natural apple vinegar over some chemicals anyday. Ill keep you all posted. in the meantime, take honey 3-4 times a day, especially before bed, drink wheatgrass, take as much vegetables and fruits as possible. stay away from junk foods, alcohol, and stress.
until next time.
