I had a colonoscopy done back in 1994 when I was in the 9th grade. They were looking for cancer on me because of my bleeding and so forth. I was awake the entire procedure and I didn't have any problems except with some cramping up during and after the procedure. My cramping and bloating seemed to disappear after a day or so when the enema that they gave me was out of my system.
