After five or so years of the following symptoms:nausea, diarrhea, rapid pulse, clammy hands and sweats, and increases in blood pressure up to the 170+/90+ range, my wife was diagnosed with a non funtioning gall bladder. It was removed using laproscopic technics and the clamp about two years ago. In a matter of weeks , the problems became intense. Severe nausea, blood pressure increases, rapid pulse, unable to eat and so on. After a difficult time with our family doctor, a gastroendoscopy showed she was suffering from acute gastritis becuase of bile in the stomach. Treatment was started with Priolosec and antacids and for a while seemed to effective. Fatty foods were avoided as well as spices and overeating. Smaller and more frequent meals also seemed to help. However, episodes of the previous problems would occur. Now, it has become so bad that almost any food triggers severe nausea, high blood pressure rises, sweaty hands and clamminess, vertigo, episodes of diarrhea, shaking and chilling, aching neck and shoulders. and severe belching. These symptoms are robbing my wife of a decent life and turning her into an semi-invalid. We are seeing family doctor tomorrow --maybe --we will get somr help. Anybody else had these kinds of problems and if so what did you do?
