My Mom has suffered from Hydrenitus Suppertiva since 1970. She has the non-contagious form. Her areas have gotten as big as three inches in diameter. The only thing the doctor can advise is to have them surgically removed each time. She deals with them day to day as best as she can. She finally retired from her law enforcement career. It was finally discovered that with this diagnosis, she automatically qualifies for disabilty benefits and has since been awarded this favorable decision. She still deals with this dredful disease DAILY.
