I am a 35 year old female who also has red, swollen lumps on my legs. It started with just 1 that was the size of a 50 cent piece. It gets warm, bright red, and tender. Then it goes away for a few weeks. The color still remains though. Then its gets swollen and tender again. Now I've noticed I have 2 more that also come and go. I've had an ultrasound on the first one and they cannot find anything. They said its some sort of 'fatty deposit'. To me, I don't believe a fatty deposit would keep getting swollen and painful. Does anyone know if this is serious. It's starting to scare me.
