These openings are called crypts and are connected to your sinus cavity. See Pulsatile Irrigation as a treatment form or consult with an Ear/Nose/Throat Specialist for further help. I also have gotten them since a child which is caused by the openings not being large enough are curved. Everyone has them they are just not aware of it. Good luck.
