Ellie, I wish that I could shed some light for you however, the reason as to how I had stumbled across your posting is because I too am experiencing this in my right eye and have been told the exact same thing as yourself. I have not had my appointment yet with the eye specialist however, when I do if there is any information that I can pass onto you I will do so. I too am very concerned as I am only 26 years old and I have a little girl which I adore so much.
