since a child, i've had pains between my heart and left lung, like a metal skewer is quickly inserted and ripped out, unexpectedly. i am 30 yrs old now, and it still occurs. i have 6 children, 2 are my blood and am more concerned that i can't get help before it is too late. i have had pleurisy/ pleuritis before on my right lung, but this is so different. a picture of my lungs were taken a few months ago after i begged the doctor to please help me, but that is all he did, and thought there may have been scarring present. now he said that is not the case, and left it at that. i'm not quite sure exactly where the pain comes from, because when i get the shooting pain, it happens so fast and i am left in shock and fear, that i am only aware of the area of my chest that i have flung my hands to, when i realise what has just happened, again. someone please help me or guide me to what this COULD be, so i can help every doc that i go to, to help me until one investigates it, as it is increasing.
