I'm 17 years old, and about 3 years ago I've been expierencing heart palpitations. I went to a doctor, and they said it was nothing to worry about. Well thats all fine and dandy, but since about 6 months ago, ive been getting really bad tightness in my center chest, and on the left side under my left breast. The pain comes and goes, but when it hits for a few seconds, its very painful. Then when i get a full blown attack, I get extreme dizziness, and i faint and become unconcious. I get major shortness of breath and fluttering heart beats. I have all the symptoms for atrial fibrillation and vantricular trachycardia. Because there are times when my heart beat goes up to 120, one time it hit 150 all nite long in the hospital. They sent me to a cardiologist and im hooked up to a heart monitor for 2 months. So basically all my syptoms that occur when im having these attacks are: skipping beats, chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness and fainting, and respitory arrest at times. The doctors all ready know that i have sinus arryhthmis, but they can't find anything else, and i know something is wrong. I have a boyfriend who is an EMT, and he has givin me some clues on what it could be. he's also noticed that i have an irregular heart beat.
