atrial fibrilation and verapnamil

I was recently taking 100 mg of amiodorone for atrial fibrillation and have now been put on verapnamil. Has anyone else taken either of these meds. I was concerned about liver problems wih amiodorone especially since my Doctor never sent me for a blood test for my liver and this was over a period of four years.
