Reddish-brown discharge when wiping.

I noticed yesterday that I've had a reddish-brown discharge, but only when I wipe. There is no iching and I haven't really had cramps. And it doesn't smell really bad. I was thinking it could be a reaction to my discontinued use of a medicine that I'd been on for a while. I stopped using it a few days before this appeared. But, then again. I've never started my period, so it could be that. What do you think?
