I first got bacterial vaginosis a couple of months after antibiotic use back to back and starting birth control pills. I was sexually active with one partner.
Up until now, I still get BV usually by the end of each period and will sometimes go a couple of months without it. Metro Gel and Flagyl have quit working to clear this up and now all I can use that brings any relief is Cleocin ovules.
I take acidophilus supplements and do all the things we have been advised to do and still get this.
If anyone knows a doctor who specializes in this and not only treats it but knows how to help regain natural flora please e-mail me. Any and all suggestions welcome.
