Acne on scalp

I have bumps on my scalp that my dermatologist says is acne. They are painful and my hair is falling out by the handful. He prescribed a ton of antibotics and said to let him know if it works. I haven't taken the antibotics yet because I don't really believe that would do anything.

Does anyone know of a shampoo that will illeviate the pain on my scalp and stop the hair from falling out?
